I’ve been having a difficult time for several weeks... Much to do with Memorial Day... some know Jim, and I met on Memorial Day 2003.
I have times when it really hits me hard. It did 3 years ago much the same.
I’m supposed to have a “nerve block” out in my right shoulder on Monday. My pain specialist is going to inject the nerve at the hospital. IF I am lucky enough to get 50% PAIN RELIEF OR MORE, they can put a trial of a “PNS.” Percutaneous Nerve Stim”..IF it works, I would have MORE RANGE OF MOTION AND PAIN RELIEF! They do a trial with a wire about 8 inches long, which is attached outside of the body, and use a wireless device that I control to help with the pain. I was concerned about my oacemkaer since they can run on the same frequency!
My Cardiologist said my Medtronic Azure pacemaker is fine. It is the most current one. The only other upper one is now leadless. So, you have no wires running from the device to your heart.
I’ve been attending. a new church the past two Sundays! I love the music and enjoy the people. and LOVE the music!
PLUS!!! I applied to be a “Pink Lady” at our local hospital! I enjoyed being a “Candystriper” when I was a teenager!
I am not online much now. Between lawn work and all these days entail, I am overly busy!
MY ONLY issue is that my pain specialist uses a hospital that is near Waco, in Hillsboro. But they also specialize in pain manage
ment procedures. He uses it only, so I know he has a good reason. I need someone to take me because they will put me out. We are working on that to make sure I have someone to drive me.
I was going to go to the church tonight for a weekly meeting. But, I have run all day long, mowed, done other lawn work, run errands, and honestly, I am exhausted!
