25 YEARS LATER - Celebrating those who lost their lives, served and still suffers through the day of 8/11!

It seems nearly impossible that it's been 25 years! So many things have happened since then, and the road continues ever widening... a new direction, some good, bad, and/or indifferent...
As I had written on my Facebook page, like MOST of us, we recall that moment we found out the first plane had hit the first tower… from there we continued to be saturated by what was happening… and we didn't have a clue what would happen over the next moments, hours, and days ahead...
The silence is deafening, and the courage remains...

My recollection of the events of 9/11/2001....
It seems impossible that it has been 25 years! I am sure we will ALL NOW EXACTLY know where we were, who we were with at the time, and how we were glued to our Social Media, Radio, and Televisions, wondering where the next shoe would drop... I was in Ft. Worth at a friend's home, and they were working at the airport... I had been on Facebook, I believe, when I heard the information on the radio. I immediately turned on the television! I caught it a few moments before the 2nd plane hit the 2nd tower!!! As I watched millions do so, wondering if this was "real", was this the "end"???? Where was the next pane going to strike!? I picked up the phone and called Mom and Dad... mt friend came to get me and brought me home to Ennis. Shortly thereafter, I had plans to move to Seattle, WA... I arrived in Seattle at 8:30PM West Coast Time on Halloween, October 31st, 2001, after surviving a three-day bus ride from TX to Seattle, WA. We came over the Snoqualmie Pass, and the snow was so thick, and the wind was blowing, you could not see your hand in front of your face. My, how quickly time flew, flies, and continues to flow like a raging river...
